Founded in 2009, the GEM Programme discovers and develops the next generation of housing professionals. We seek graduates who understand the challenges the sector faces and want to work in roles that make a real difference to people’s lives and communities.

We offer an integrated programme combining real job experience, bespoke personal development and a CIH-accredited professional qualification, delivered in partnership with specialists across social housing, construction, homelessness and politics.

Since 2009 we have supported nearly 300 graduates into housing sector roles and partnered with more than 55 organisations nationally and internationally.
